Edem Bekirov goes on hunger strike
Political prisoner’s daughter said Edem Bekirov wanted to go on a hunger strike.
According to Eleonora Bekirova, a lawyer visited his defendant in the Simferopol detention center.
«We sent my father a parcel on March 14. He received it on March 17. All the food spoiled within 3 days. All the food cooked in detention center is contraindicated for him. Everything is prepared on combined fats there. Today he has a critically high level of sugar, it is 16. He has terrible shortness of breath and is choking,» she reported.
Eleonora Bekirova considers the invaders create for her father «pernicious conditions to die».
«They purposefully create for him pernicious conditions to die. He is allowed to go for a walk, but doing it himself is impossible as he must go steep upstairs to the fifth floor. How will he do it? Or they say that he can go bathing. Though it does not have at all facilities not to soak the prosthesis, otherwise he will lose it. In a short word, my father has a heart cry and prostration. Unbearable conditions are created for him in which he must die,» the political prisoner’s daughter summed up.
Earlier, Crimean Tatar’s lawyer Islyam Velilyayev said that Edem Bekirov began to complain more often about heart pain, shortness of breath and insomnia. Political prisoner’s daughter scares that every day could be the last for her father.
