Crimean citizen faces 5 years in prison for hanging out the Ukrainian flag

The Russian occupants detained the Crimean citizen, Vladimir Balukh, after his hanging out the Ukrainian flag and want him to sentence for 5 years in prison.

The Crimean human rights group wrote about it on Facebook.

«Today, on August 1, the prosecutor Korolyov asked to imprison Vladimir Balukh for 5 years and one month of the colony at the court hearing», the report said.

Prosecutor asks such a term combining all the articles. Balukh is accused of illegal possession of weapons and explosive devices.

To remind some facts, the FSS detained Balukh in the morning of December 8, 2016. According to his wife, FSS officers turned in searches in Serebryanka village, Razdolnenskiy district, Crimea. They conducted the rummages for four hours in Balukh’s and his mother’s houses. FSS officers said that they found 90 bullets and several TNT grenades in the loft of Balukh’s house.

At the end of December, human rights activists informed that in the Crimean predetention custody Balukh's health state worsened, pain in his back intensified, and chronic bronchitis also worsened.
