Oktyabrskiy Hostel for the elderly and disabled people leadership in Crimea threatens its employees with dismissal if they fail to vote on March 18, 2018 at the presidential election.

The Crimean human rights group reports on it.

As to activists, the state institution leadership met Crimean Tatar employees only.

«Oktyabrskiy geriatric hostel (hostel for the elderly and disabled people – «15 minutes») leadership held a team meeting. Only Crimean Tatar employees were invited there. Director asked everyone to come to the polls, and those who ignore will have to be resigned voluntarily. Director says that everyone should vote, because they are afraid of sabotage by Crimean Tatars», it was told to Crimean human rights group.

In addition, in one of the Crimean schools there held the parents' meeting, where principal instructed all teachers to arrange an exhibition devoted the presidential elections.

«Principal obliged by an oral order all teachers to participate in the polls», Crimeans told the human rights activists.

Earlier, the first deputy chairman of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatars, Nariman Dzhelyal being on air at Kopur|Most talk show on ATR TV channel on March 11 said that Russia urged Crimeans to come to the polls on March 18.

«Officials and leadership of state institutions, enterprises, municipalities threaten their employees. Such a colossal huge pressure on the voters perhaps hasn’t ever been there», stressed Dzhelyal.

According to Dzhelyal, the occupiers will create any fake illusion of Crimean Tatars presence at the polls.

«We have a suggestion that a huge number of people, having come from Russia and worked here on the construction of roads, airport terminals and other places, will vote according to the appropriate procedure in compact places where Crimean Tatars live. Official statistics will show that Crimean Tatars suddenly show their presence at the polls. Such tricks will be turned out, and I'm not talking about propaganda», he said.
