Ukrainian citizen, Igor Krinichniy was beaten for national symbols in Yalta. The reason is the image of a blue-and-yellow flag on his car number and windshield.

A man has a car with the code «AK». It is the Ukrainian alphabetic car code in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. There is also depicted the Ukrainian flag at the license plate, as well as the symbol is placed on the car windshield. This reason caused the man’s beating.

According to Krinichny, after the beating he spent three days in the hospital.

«This is why I was beaten. And I’m a Ukrainian who lives in Crimea», says the man pointing to the Ukrainian flag on the windshield.

«He (a man who beat Ukrainian – «15 minutes») every day comes and spits on my car. To my question «why are you doing this?» he replied: «Because I’m UKROP and a fascist», said Krinichniy after the beating.

In his opinion, being a Ukrainian patriot in Crimea is dangerous now.

In September 2016, there appeared a video in the Internet, which showed the consequences of the brutal beating of a man for using his Ukrainian symbols. It was Igor Movenko.

Later on, in November 2016, it became known that police opened in Crimea a criminal case against Igor Movenko on an article on extremism for his comment in the social network concerning the illegal annexation of Crimea.
