Jamala harangued: We have to dream, we will return the Crimea, and we will be there! (VIDEO)
The People's Artist of Ukraine, Susana Dzhamaladinova (Jamala) harangued to the participants, the guests and the spectators apparently without preparing in advance during the Crimean gala concert «Vatan Sesi» passed on November 27 in Kiev.
Jamala encouraged the Crimean Tatars to dream and mainly to act. «We will return Crimea, and we will be there!» she said.
During her speech Jamala stressed out several times that the Crimean Tatars needed to be dreamers at this moment as once their parents and grandparents had been who despite everything had returned to their homeland, to Crimea:
«They just had a purpose, and they did not want to hear any lame excuses like «for» and «against». It's impossible. Our victory was not possible at all, but it resulted due to them, due to the fact that they were just one-hundred-percent dreamers. We all together have to be dreamers. It means dreamers-dash-perfectionists and to be the best».
The Crimean Tatar singer appealed to people to ask themselves what they have done for Crimea. She assures that Crimea will come back to Ukraine, and we must be ready for it.
«What have you precisely done to keep your family, your nation and your motherland calm and to wake up with such aim? In other words it means to dream, to act and to implement. We really need it right now. I really rely on you. We will return Crimea, and we will be there. We should have to sleep with an idea that we are already there. Do you understand? We must be prepared for it. We're a little bit unprepared because we do not know how to dream indeed like children. Dream! I beg you, because it is your love and your faith had won in Stockholm. No, not mine but yours, because you believed it. Believe it again, and everything will be», Jamala said and sang the first lines of the National Anthem «Ant etkenmen» (in the Crimean Tatar - «I vowed») before the next song.
