Lawyer tells about Kyazim Ametov’s kidneys failure
Vedzhie Kashka’s case figurants’, the Crimean Tatars’ health state worsened in the pretrial detention center. The court delayed its meeting on January 9, 2019, because of the urgent hospitalization one of the defendants.
On Wednesday, December 19, the Kiev District Court in Simferopol had to consider Vedzhie Kashka’s case against the Crimean Tatars Bekir Degermendzhi, Ruslan Trubach, Kyazim Ametov and Asan Chapukh.
According to lawyer Emil Kurbedinov, the court delayed its hearing on January 9, as a case figurant Asan Chapukh being under house arrest was taken to hospital.
«Kyazim Ametov applied to me. They complain on the conditions of detention. Kyazim-aga told about his kidneys failure. The conditions are unbearable, and it is a special block where two people are under constant video surveillance. Nevertheless, the most important thing is that there is a strong dampness and the defendants’ health state has significantly declined,» said Kurbedinov.
As ATR TV channel reported, in Crimea on October 10, 2018, the case figurant Asan Chapukh was released under house arrest because of his serious health state deterioration.
