Google Maps returned the Crimean Tatar original titles to the Crimean cities that were renamed by Stalin (PHOTO)

The popular internet-service Google Maps renamed some Crimean cities on own maps.

Krasnoperekopsk is particularly defined on Google Maps as Yani Kapu, the regional centers Krasnogvardeyskoe – Kurman, Kyrovskoe – Islyam-Terek, Sovetskiy – Ichky.

As «15 minutes» informed, on May, 12 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine renamed 70 localities and 5 regions in Crimea within the law of decommunization. The new names have mainly the Crimean Tatar’s origin.
