In Crimea Russian occupants threaten Crimean Tatar singers who wizzed with Jamala
On the administrative border with Crimea the FSS officers detained the Crimean Tatar artists who had participated in the gala concert «Vatan sesi» («The Call of Motherland»).
On Tuesday, November 29, at the administrative border crossing the FSS officers detain for unknown reasons the Crimean Tatar artists. The under-16s were released immediately, but others taken away for questioning. Among the detainees at the moment there are «Hip-Hop Qirim» band (Seyran Khalilov, Eskender Chatalov and Osman Dzhemalyadinov), the singer Reana Tarkova and mother of minor Adile Absaitova, Ayshe Absaitova. As well the FSS officers detained for questioning mother of the political prisoner in «the case on February 26» Mustafa Degermendzhi, Alie Degermendzhi.
To remind some facts, on November 27 in Kiev there was held the Crimean Tatar concert «Vatan sesi». There had participated the Crimean Tatar artists both those living in Kiev and came from the occupied Crimea to the concert. Artists wizzed on the same stage with the Ukrainian singer of the Crimean Tatar origin, Jamala. The day before coming to the concert many Crimean Tatar artists left in Crimea were threatened with various reprisals and punitive measures by the occupation authorities. After questioning all the participants of the concert were released to Crimea.
