«Krym-SOS»: there are 40 missing people in occupied Crimea for 3 years and 17 people still unknown
For 3 years of occupation in Crimea 40 citizens became the victims of enforced disappearance. 6 ones were found dead and 17 were abducted in March 2014, but they were soon released. 17 others are remained unknown until now.
On Friday, February 24, «Krym-SOS» activists had told near the Russian Embassy in Kyiv.
Until recently public figures spoke about 15 missing Crimeans, but the list was added with another two names of the Crimean Tatars, Eskender Ibraimov and Lemar Alyadinov. They had disappeared in summer, 2014.
«MIA» of the occupied Crimea refuses to investigate the crime. There have not yet identified the enforced disappearances happened in Crimea during the occupation. It is unknown as activists and human rights defenders say.
Activists and concerned people run the campaign «Where is Erwin?» within the informational campaign «Find & Free» in Kiev each month 24th. It is a day when the Crimean Tatar activist, the member of of the executive committee the World Congress of Crimean Tatars, Erwin Ibragimov was kidnapped.
Crime was recorded with the camera at the nearby store. At the disposal of «investigating» authorities in Crimea there is a video recording of Erwin’s abduction by several people in uniform, but his fate is unknown to them until now.
