Poroshenko signed decree blocking access to Yandex, Mail.ru, Vk.com and Ok.ru in Ukraine
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed an executive order on new sanctions against Russia in particular providing the blocking of access to social networks Vk.com, Ok.ru, Yandex and Mail.ru in Ukraine.

The decree introduces «a ban on Internet providers providing services for accessing users to the Internet resources as Mail.ru (www.mail.ru) and social networks Vkontakte (www.vk.com) and Odnoklassniki (www .ok.ru)».
The decree additionally bans the access to Mail.ru and Mail.RU GROUP services, as well as to Yandex.
It is noted that the sanctions will be valid within 3 years.
The anti-virus companies’ websites «Kaspersky Lab's» and «DrWeb» will also be blocked. Economic sanctions (blocking of assets, prohibition of transactions and broadcasting) were introduced against the major Russian TV companies «TV Center», VGTRK Russia, NTV-Plus, Zvezda, TNT, and REN-TV.
