8 Crimean activists are free, and the one is drawn up a protocol

On Monday, 14 August, 2017, several old men hold a single picket in Simferopol in support of the detained 76-year-old Server Karametov. They all were arrested as well.

Moreover, the human rights activist Lilya Gemedzhi and other activists together with the picketers were also detained because of filming on a camera what was happening or standing nearby.

As to an activist Osman Arifm, 8 out of 9 detainees were released for now. One man was drawn up a protocol about the violation of single picket. This man is Yarikul Davlatov, 64. The court will review his case at 4 p.m.

To remind some facts, on Monday, 14 August, 2017, several old men hold a single picket in Simferopol in support of the detained earlier 76-year-old Server Karametov.

Men came out with banners «Putin, our children are not terrorists!» to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Council of Crimea, the Council of Ministers and the Supreme Court.

As the website «15 minutes» informed, 76-year-old Server Karametov came out with a banner «Putin, our children are not terrorists!» to the Supreme Court. During his single picketing the police officers came to a man. Soon Crimean Tatar was arrested and drawn up two protocols. The same evening Karametov was fined per 10 thousand rubles allegedly for violation of single picket.

On 9 August the Zheleznodorozhniy District Court in Simferopol imposed Crimean Tatar 10 days of administrative arrest for his resisting to policemen. 76-year-old Karametov has Parkinson disease.
