The media project «Golos Islama» («Voice of Islam») chief editor Dmitriy Hamza Chernomorchenko was disallowed to enter the Ukraine’s territory.

«Ukrayinska Pravda» («Ukrainian Truth») announces about it.

He told about his detainment since 12 p.m. September 25, 2017, in a special room in the departure zone at Odessa International Airport.

The Ukrainian border service refused to accept Chernomorchenko and his brother because of their allegedly unproved purpose of travel. As to Chernomorchenko, he presented a notarized letter about renting a flat from the apartment owner in Odessa and that she was ready to register him there.

He also had round-trip tickets from Odessa on this Saturday. The purpose of Hamza's visit, as to him, is the submission of documents for obtaining Ukrainian citizenship, since his mother was a Ukrainian citizen as well and he had a right to receive Ukrainian documents.

«I am cancer-stricken and I need a healthy diet and a good sleep. You saw our accommodation where we are and additionally there is a lack of opportunity to eat and drink», Chernomorchenko told «Ukrayinska Pravda».

As you know, Dmitriy Hamza Chernomorchenko is a Russian citizen, but he was forced to live in Turkey because of pressure in his homeland.
