Andrey Kolomiets’ case: requests for medical assistance have not yet been approved
The political prisoner Andrey Kolomiets’s health state worsened in the Russian colony. They don’t deliver the necessary medical care there.
The Crimean human rights group reports referring to his wife Galina Kolomiets.
«According to the wife Galina, Andrey's psoriasis worsened, and the results of the tests were not given to him. In early November 2017 Galina visited her husband in prison. She published a short letter from Andrey where he thanked all non-indifferent people who remembered, wrote to him and helped Galina collect parcels with food for him», it is said in a report.
By the way, the fact that Kolomiets needed medical support became known in June 2017.
Earlier, on June 10, 2016, the Ukrainian Euromaidan activist Andrey Kolomiets was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in a penal colony in the annexed Crimea. He was detained in Kabardino-Balkaria in May 2015 on suspicion of drugs possession. After the detention, the Ukrainian was brought to Crimea and accused of attempted murder of two Crimean Berkutians (security service officers). According to his lawyer, there are only two black-and-white photos of allegedly burnt bodies of these men among material evidences.
