Kyazim Ametov’s health state, a person accused of Vedzhie Kashka’s case, worsens in the Crimean jail.

The lawyer Emil Kurbedinov wrote on Facebook.

He told about the terrible conditions in the detention center where Ametov is kept.

«Today I visited Kyazim-aga Ametov in the detention center in Simferopol. He sent “hello” to all. He said that his health state worsens because of unbearable conditions in the detention center. There are unsanitary conditions, rats, bedbugs, unbearable food, dampness, lack of oxygen, 20 beds for 22 prisoners and others», the lawyer wrote.

In addition, Ametov's eyesight has worsened, and his heart aches and he has a high blood pressure. However, as to Emil Kurbedinov, his client does not give up.

«Kyazim-aga is firmly keeping a stiff upper lip and call for everyone that no one should ever betray another for the sake of own personal freedom and fear of persecution», the lawyer added.

In Crimea on November 23, 2017, the FSS together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained Crimean Tatars in Simferopol: Bekir Degermendzhi, Kyazim Ametov, Asan Chapukh, Ruslan Trubach and Kurtseit Abdullayev. Another activist Elmira Gaziyeva-Baranova’s house was searched as well.

The invaders accuse the men of alleged «extortion» from a Turkish citizen. However, the Crimean Tatars tried to help the Vedzhie Kashka family to recover the money stolen by this Turkish citizen, Yusuf Aytan. He stole a large amount of money from the Kashka family. According to the first deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Nariman Dzhelyalov, Russian special services used the Turk, or he himself went with them to cooperate in order to avoid returning the debt.
