FSS officers detained and tortured the Crimean Tatar at the administrative border with Crimea
Crimean Tatar Abdulla Ibragimov, who disappeared at night on March 9, was found. The reason for Ibragimov’s loss was his detention by Russian special services officers at the administrative border with Crimea.
NGO «Krymskaya Solidarnost» reported about this.
24-year-old Crimean Tatar stayed all night at Kalanchak checkpoint and was succumbed to physical violence and moral pressure by FSS officers.
«They hit his head with a rubber truncheon and beat his face, though the detention outcome wouldn’t be known if relatives, lawyers, human rights activists, the public in social networks and the media didn’t react. Now he is at home. He arrived by bus», it’s said in a statement.
As to «Krymskaya Solidarnost», «a person is absolutely deprived of any legal and information assistance when he/she is alone with the siloviki and special services officers».
«Moreover, today we once again witnessed when authorized persons disseminate deliberately false information», human rights activists report.
Crimean Tatar Abdullah Ibragimov from Evpatoria disappeared at night on March 9, 2018 while passing the administrative border Kherson-Crimea. Relatives lost contact with him on March 8, at 6 p.m. Afterwards his relatives together with lawyer Rustem Kyamilev went to search for Ibragimov.
