Lawyer: Political prisoner Ruslan Zeytullaev was transferred to the isolation ward
Crimean Tatar political prisoner Ruslan Zeytullaev, convicted for the «Hizb ut-Tahrir case» for 15 years in a strict-regime colony in the Russian Federation, was placed in the punishment cell.
Zeytullaev’s lawyer Emil Kurbedinov reported about it.
The Crimean Tatar was placed in the isolation cell for alleged regime violation. The lawyer does not have more detailed information so far. Moreover, Kurbedinov sent a complaint to the Federal Penitentiary Service on Zeytullayev’s detention on the Russian territory and demanded to transfer him to a colony on the occupied Crimea.
The Russian Supreme Court in Moscow on July 27, 2017 sentenced Crimean Tatar Ruslan Zeytullayev to 15 years imprisonment. He is serving a sentence in a colony in Salavat city (Russia, the Republic of Bashkortostan).
As to the website «15 minutes», Zeytullaev wrote about five appeals demanding to extradite him to Ukraine.
