Court postponed the case hearing on missing Timur Shaymardanov in Crimea
The meeting was to be held on the case of Crimean Tatar Timur Shaymardanov’s missing in the Kiev District Court in Simferopol on April 13, 2018.

At the meeting, the court had to consider the lawyer Emil Kurbedinov’s appeal against the investigation actions in Timur Shaymardanov’s case, because the criminal case was initiated, though no results of the investigation are still available. However, the meeting did not take place because of the prosecutor’s absence.
In late May 2014, the active participants in protests against the Russian occupation of Crimea, Crimean Tatars Timur Shaymardanov and Seyran Zinedinov had missed in Simferopol. Since then, nothing is known about their fate. Timur Shaymardanov and his colleagues created an informal organization called «Ukrainian People’s House», which united Crimeans who disagreed with joining to Russia. The case about the Timur’s and Seyran’s disappearance the Investigative Committee has united in one criminal proceeding.
